Stephanie Zmuda, MA CCC-SLP

Stephanie is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and co-owner of Flex Therapy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh. Stephanie's expertise covers a wide range of communication and feeding/swallowing challenges.

Stephanie has completed over 90 hours of continuing education relating to pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders, including: the AEIOU Approach to Feeding, Brianna Miluk’s Pediatric Feeding Mentorship Group, and Beckman Oral Motor Treatment. She provides treatment to clients with self-limiting diets, oral-motor delays/disorders, and individuals with oral and/or pharyngeal dysphagia. She is committed to providing families and clients with supportive, gradual feeding therapy programs which foster progress while maintaining positive experiences and overall wellbeing.

Stephanie also works with clients to support expressive and receptive language, early social skills, articulation. Stephanie is skilled in using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods to aid individuals with limited verbal abilities.

Stephanie’s approach to therapy involves emphasizing respectful and responsive interactions with infants and young children, and child-led, interactive play to promote development. She is committed to supporting the neurodivergent population with affirming practices and positive therapeutic experiences.

Autumn Huey, PT, DPT

Autumn is a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) who has a passion for holistic health. She is experienced in geriatrics, post-surgical rehabilitation, and gentle manual orthopedic techniques, including Myofascial Release. She provides PT services to both adults and children and has a special interest in how the neurological system affects movement, function, and development. Autumn is trained in Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), a therapeutic technique used to treat children with motor delay by improving automatic postural responses and promoting progress towards developmental milestones. Autumn considers all factors of wellness while diagnosing and treating her patients.

Makayla Oliver, OTR/L

Makayla is a licensed and certified occupational therapist (OT) who received her Bachelor’s in Rehabilitation and Master’s in Occupational Therapy from College of Saint Mary in Nebraska. She has experience in both geriatrics and pediatrics across a variety of settings, such as in-home care, acute care, and outpatient. Makayla is committed to working with families, in all settings, in order to develop and carry-out client-based interventions and goals. While working with the pediatric population, Makayla utilizes a play-based approach, incorporating a child’s interests throughout intervention. She enjoys supporting children with developmental delays, sensory needs, and fine motor coordination challenges. In order to provide best care practice to her client’s and their families, Makayla has furthered her knowledge and understanding of the pediatric population in a variety of ways. She has completed courses with emphasis on Autism, retained primitive reflex integration, social-emotional challenges, and sensory processing disorder.

Cierra Carpenter, MS, SLP-CF

Cierra is a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist (CF-SLP) who has been providing speech and language intervention with Flex Therapy since her internship placement as a student. Cierra received her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Baylor University. She has developed a strong desire to work with families and children within the early intervention population and school-aged children. Throughout her clinical placements as a student, she has developed a special interest providing intervention in the areas of early language, dyslexia and reading, written language, vocabulary, and grammar. She enjoys incorporating children’s interests into themed and play-based activities while providing intervention.

She has completed a variety of courses to provide additional support throughout intervention to children and families including Ultimate Play Based Speech Therapy Course, Autism Strategies for the Early Childhood SLP, and Treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech: A Practical Guide. Cierra has three children of her own ages 4, 3, and a newborn which has led her to educate herself on a variety of parenting strategies and techniques. She has completed the Big Little Feelings: Winning the Toddler Stage course that provides tools and strategies on how to navigate practical scenarios to support children ages one through six by understanding how to support and validate their feelings and guide children’s emotional development in a practical way.

Tianna Del Rosso, BS, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A)

Tia is a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) who obtained her Bachelor's in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Northern Colorado in December of 2022. During her Bachelor's program, Tia completed an internship at a school district in WELD county as well as taking courses in American Sign Language to further educate herself in other forms of communication. Since graduation, Tia has worked in educational and private practice settings, and has developed a passion for supporting children with a variety of speech and language disorders.

Amanda Goodell, Office Assistant and Reception
